RF: The dog went up the hill, then down the slope to the bird.
MR: The dog took a true path at the fall and put his nose on it.
LR: The dog went running at the holding blind, went under the holding blind and front-footed the bird.

Came to the line at 9:26 am
RF: straight to the bird.
MF: headed wide right of the fall, reached the bales deep of the fall; established a hunt deep and right of the bird, then made a left of the holding and worked over to the bird.
LR: ran at the holding blind; began to angle toward the bird, midway and put his nose on it.

RF: The dog made a couple of passes in the area and had her bird.
MR: The dog punched through the cover, veering hard right, then established a hunt shallow of the fall, before working deeper to the left of the holding blind, then quickly made a move right in the area and to the bird.
LR: The dog went running at the holding blind, got to the right of the holding blind and began to hunt to the right of the holding blind, before making a move to the left to retrieve the bird.
RF: The dog made a couple of passes in the area and had her bird.
MR: The dog punched through the cover, veering hard right, then established a hunt shallow of the fall, before working deeper to the left of the holding blind, then quickly made a move right in the area and to the bird.

MR: The dog took off at the bird, veering deep, hunted the bales deep, then rapidly made a move to snatch up her bird.
LR: The dog went running at the holding blind, angling right. then made a loop into the area, then made pass or two and had her bird.

RF: The dog made short work of this bird for an accurate mark.
MR: The dog veered wide right of the fall and followed a cover strip down the valley, away from the bird, going out of sight. The dog suddenly appeared and went straight to the bird.
LR: The dog took off way right of the holding blind, then began to hunt the cover strips shallow of the mark in the valley among the bales, before the dog was handled to the bird.

We have run the first ten dogs and the conditions have changed. The clouds have rolled in and created more of a neutral light. The wind has picked up to 15 mph at the handlers back. It has made it more challenging to throw the Rooster Flyer into the wind resulting in 2 no-birds.

The dog came to the line at 8:23 am
RF: The dog hunted a bit in the shallow cover, then deep and left of the gunners before finally working it out to retrieve the bird.
MR: The dog hunted shallow, then made a move deep to the holding blind, looped around it, then went deep again, then making a more shallow and going left of the holding blind. The dog eventually made it to the right in the area and getting the bird.
LR: The dog made a pass in a cover strip, on the way to the mark. The dog continued straight to the bird.

RF: The dog pinned it!
MR: The dog went running under the arc, and went in looking for his bird to make one loop deep and then scooped up his bird. This was a picture perfect mark.
LR: The dog went running at the bird the entire way and then put his front feet on it.

MR: The dog ran fast down the hill and got hung up in shallow cover strips, then quickly moved toward the fall to rapidly retrieve the bird.
LR: The dog ran at the bird the entire way, driving just deep and then turned and put her nose on it!

The dog came to the line at 8:02 am
RF: The drove deep while making a loop and came inward to grab his bird.
MR: The dog drove just deep of the fall, established a hunt deep right, then deep left at the bales in the cover strip, before working it out to retrieve the bird.
LR: The dog took off at the holding blind and skimmed the right side and looped over to the area and snatched up the his bird.

MR: The dog drove deep of the bird on the right going to the next cover strip and established a hunt deep of the area in several cover strips, again going deep and ran around the holding blind and finally getting his bird.
LR: The dog traveled a path way right of the holding blind and angling even harder right away from the holding blind. Then the dog was handled to the bird.
RF: The rooster landed in short cover down the slope and the dog hammered it!
MR: The dog drove deep of the bird on the right going to the next cover strip and established a hunt deep of the area in several cover strips, again going deep and ran around the holding blind and finally getting his bird.

8. FC AFC JJ OF RED ROCK, "JJ", LM, Jim McBee
The dog came to the line at 7:42 am
RF: The dog made a loop at the top of the hill and and scooped the bird on the slope of the hill.
MR: The dog went just under the arc holding tight to the holding blind then driving to the next cover strip establishing a deep hunt near the hay bales. JJ kept hunting relatively concentrated to the right of the holding blind and had to hunt hard to dig out the bird.
LR: JJ took of running hard on a mission left of the holding blind and made a loop on the left and the right and quickly had the bird.
RF: The dog made a loop at the top of the hill and and scooped the bird on the slope of the hill.

RF: The dog made a pass in the cover near the top of the hill then went down the slope to grab the bird.
MR: The dog was running at the fall area, went under the arc deep, while making a couple passes deep of the bird, then made a couple loops running around the holding blind before heading to the right and way deep, then worked his way inward to hunt the strips shallow of the fall before digging out his bird. The dog had a sizable hunt.
LR: The dog took a true line at the bird midway and began to climb the hill veering just right of the holding blind. The dog established a hunt on the hillside right of the holding blind before moving to the left of the holding blind for a moment then over to hunt the right side of the holding blind and the the top of the hill again. The dog finally got his bird.
