8th Series Test Description – Water Blind

The mat for Eighth Series Water Blind is located on the dam that we have been transporting handlers and spectators across all day. There is a hidden gunner on the right hand shore situated on the hillside behind a bush. Once the dogs toes hits the mat, the gunner remains hidden and shoots a dry pop. The handler is on their own from this point forward. The mat is placed on the backside of the pond dam making for a hidden entry into the pond. One extra added element of difficulty to this 90 yard blind are some decoys tucked into a cove just off the right hand shoreline near the end of the blind. This blind is a quick one taking approximately 2 minutes per dog to complete.
