Hurry UP and Wait, It is the name of the game when you are a National Competitor. Sometimes the time spent waiting to run in the holding blind can be up to an hour. The dogs will hear many gun shots as they approach the line. Gradually the noises get louder and louder and the air becomes electric. With all the people attending the event so many new sights and sounds can just throw these dogs for a whirl, wondering which is up or down.
